Everyone’s
idea of a holiday is different,
and this is where Riviera
Penthouse
and Villa really come into their
own.

Local activities
include: swimming,
golf (33 courses on the
Costa del Sol, several very
near), tennis (the Lew Hoad
Tennis Club
is very near), walking, sailing,
cycling, fishing, horse riding,
wind-surfing, water skiing,
mountain biking, aquaparks,
amusement parks, and other attractions.
A car is not necessary unless
you wish to tour around a bit,
as everything is available within
easy reach of the apartment.
The
Miraflores Golf Club is
a ten minute walk from the apartment.
The AZTEC Centre is in the heart
of Riviera del Sol which is
a sporting complex with very
good facilities. Olympic sized
swimming pool, 7 tennis courts,
badminton courts, mini golf
and a gymnasium, not to mention
the beauty salon, hairdressers
and physiotherapist. The centre
offers excellent reasonable
priced food with evening entertainment
for all ages.
Club del Sol, Calahonda has
12 excellent tennis courts comprising
7 clay courts and 5 plexi-cushion
courts and four squash courts.
Miraflores Bowls Club provides
two all weather greens and due
to the climate of the Costa
del Sol members and guests are
able to play all year round.
Cabopino is one of the Costa
del Sol's best kept secret with
its beautiful sandy beach, harbour
and a variety of renowned restaurants
within ten minute drive. Other
attractions include Tivoli World,
Sea Life, Snake City (Benalmadena)
Aquapark, Crocodile Park (Torremolinos),
Hippodrome racecourse (El Chaparral,
Mijas Costa).

Andalucia has something for
everyone: the holiday towns
of the Costas (Málaga Torremolinos,
Marbella and Fuengirola) and
the miles of clubs, bars, cafes,
golf clubs and beaches that
line a rocky coast.
For cultural visitors, the highlights
are the cities of Seville, Cordoba
and Granada. For wildlife enthusiasts,
there are some of the highest
mountains in Europe (including
Europe's southernmost skiing
resort) and marshlands crowded
with flamingos.

In the summer, the weather is
very hot, but in Riviera del
Sol you benefit from the sea
breeze that just takes the sting
out of the mid-day sun. In May/June
and September/October as it
is a bit cooler but still very
warm. The winter period (November
to March) is the best time for
playing golf and exploring Andalucia
by car.
The temperatures are very pleasant
and the skies are blue. You
would be very unlucky to get
a week of rain but the odd day
or few hours has to be accepted
as it is winter after all. One
can even swim in the sea in
winter as it still is reasonably
warm from the summer months.
The evenings do tend to be cool
so you would be advised to bring
a sweater or a jacket when you
go out.
